The weather forecast promised that the night sky would clear for a short time. So at half past two in the morning I assembled SAM and waited for a miracle. I hoped in vain that I would be able to take a picture of Comet Leonard today. Only before dawn did it rise sufficiently above the horizon. Moreover, the sky was not clear but with a thick haze. I was already, but so frozen that I couldn’t focus properly. Not even Siril (which I use for stacking) from the set of shots, which didn’t understand what I wanted from him. I’m not surprised. In the picture, I suspect that this is the most blurred spot in the upper left corner next to clear star….
When I found the pictures to be lousy, I returned to the garden to take a picture of at least the sky, which was almost a month gray…
