Charlie Chaplin was undoubtedly the king of the comics. He was absolutely unforgettable in the grotesque Charlie Chaplin on Cocain. He was a great screenwriter and director. In 1940, he made the film Dictator (1940), where he masterfully made fun of Hitler.
