Those who suffer from this diagnosis certainly understand me. From time to time I buy old, sometimes very old negative films in the bazaar. The reason is simple. With such material, you never have a chance to enter the same river twice. You even have a no chance to know what river you’re entering. You will find out everything only after the process of developing the negative is completed. The following pictures were taken on a negative from 1989. It still responds quite well to light, even though I already knew that I had to take pictures with an overexposure of at least 3 EV. I have the oldest such negatives from 1974. But I will wait with them until a really sunny day and a good idea.
