head up…

The opening image is from 2020. Exactly three years ago, I photographed this beautiful comet on the last day I could see it. That world was completely different than it is today. This comet is currently moving in the constellation Hydra. And it is beyond my ability to see her. But if I look in the right direction, I can say:” I know you’re there…I know about you.” Just keep your head up….

    1. Thank You Horst. Since I’ve been taking photos all my life with fairly cheap analog cameras, Comet Neowise was the first one I photographed with a digital SLR camera. At that time, I didn’t know anything about how to photograph celestial objects and I didn’t have any equipment at all for it. I asked my daughter if I could borrow her Nikon D3200 with a kit lens. I had no idea how to operate the camera. Neowise made me buy a DSLR too 😁📷
