T.G.M

When TGM is said in our country, most (I hope) think of our first president.Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, referred to as T.G.M., TGM or President Liberator, was a Czechoslovak statesman, philosopher, sociologist and pedagogue, the first president of the Czechoslovak Republic.Czechoslovakia was a state in Central Europe that existed in the years 28.10.1918–31.12.1992, with the exception of the period of World War II, when it had its government-in-exile abroad. The country included the territory of Bohemia, Moravia, Czech Silesia, Slovakia and, until 1939, Subcarpathian Rus. We kind of keep changing the names of our area. People live here who have never left their town. Nevertheless, they could have been born in Austria-Hungary, Czechoslovak Republic, the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, the Czechoslovak Federative Republic, and so far the last name of our state is the Czech Republic.
