relax ….

after a week in the darkroom, i had to take a picture of my DSLR Nikon yesterday. I already felt sorry for him …. The picture is taken almost in the dark at ISO 50, with an aperture of 2.8 and a shutter speed of 1 s. Of course from a tripod. The shadows are caused by a multi-arm lamp at the other end of the room.

the old lens repair…

Today I started to repair one old Prakticar Pentacon 50mm f / 1.8 lens. The camera’s exposure meter could not transfer the aperture value from the lens. It wasn’t the type of glitch that would make it impossible to use the lens, but I like it when things work 100%. After disassembly, a broken plastic of the contacts and a torn resistance path wire were found. A little tin and a melting gun solved it all. Black and white images are taken today after the repair and functionality test.

Analog forever…

Tomorrow will finally be time to meet professionals and true analog photography enthusiasts. I’ve been invited several times, but something always went wrong and I couldn’t attend.I apologized in advance that I don’t own a large format device, so I’ll only arrive with my medium format Pentacon Six. So tomorrow will be marked by large-format photography, combined with the presentation of his own work. So I spent today selecting and producing photos taken with a 100% analog process. Maybe they will like some of the photos. Keep your fingers crossed for good luck …

be Water ranger …

mix of analog & digital from yesterday. This stone bear guards the spring of the best water in the world (according me). He is my hero just like half a century ago. Our village is closely connected with bears. We also have a bear named Moravsky Beroun, since 1910 (Moravian Bear). In the years 1869-1910, the town was still called Beroun (Bear). In the park where I took pictures yesterday, there is still a bear enclosure to this day. The last two who lived here(Jiskra and Batul) were shot in 1970 after the tragedy they caused.
