If you shoot with analog cameras, it’s important to have some sort of archiving system. Black and white negatives for 35mm cameras I start with the number 35 and end with the year. Medium formats start with the number 66. If it is a color negative, the number code starts with the letter C. Since I sometimes color the photos, identification is then easier. Yes, they are almost the same shots as from a DSLR. But because I’m fool, I always try it with everything I have with me…😉🙃📷

grain …

Somehow I missed the photos, which are not crystal clear. Even with an analog camera, you can create an unnaturally sharp photo. So I mixed the developer diluted 1: 9 (Kodak Tmax) and shot one film(Fomapan 400) at the table over the afternoon coffee. If you do not want to dilute the developer, a similar grain can be achieved at a higher developer temperature. The cherries in the last picture are hand-colored with oil paint, which I borrowed from my daughter.

sometimes …

the photo works and sometimes it fails. Today is one of those days when one should not leave the house. It’s cold and it’s raining a lot. As I get used to the intensity of the rain, the rain intensifies. So I quickly took a few remaining shots of the film and went to develope it. Even when pulling the film cassette out of the camera, I managed (thanks to the orthosis on my left hand) to somehow insert my finger through the lamellae of the camera shutter. One by one I pushed back there and it looks like everything is working as it should. After developing the film, I found out that a few images on the negative are scratched (probably due to the orthosis on the left hand again). I decided to correct one of these images in PS and I even colored him. This is not an art. I only regret any images that are unusable.

big “Art” :)

When the shot is not according to my liking, because not everything will always work out, the post-process in Photoshop begins. Then I will color the photo, crop it, smear it … as long as I enjoy it 🙂
