the cows and the star…

the day before yesterday, right after I took my wife to the station in the morning, I rushed to the hill to photograph the rising of our nearest star. I could have written that I wanted to photograph the sunrise, but this is also true. On the way I noticed a herd of cows having breakfast… breakfast in the grass and in the mist under the light of star. Romantic.

morning at Takumar….

This morning, after a long time, I took photos with my old love Fujica ST901. In combination with the Takumar 1.8/55mm lens, this is still an incredibly high-quality device. I took a couple of pictures of a flowered lily against the sun (probably that’s why my eyesight is getting worse). To make the sun really round in the photo, I used an ND64 filter with the aperture wide open… Yes, I could have titled the post Morning with Takumar, but that way you might be thinking where the hell Takumar is😁📷

oriental trumphet lily…

Even though the lily bed has thinned out considerably due to the vagaries of the weather, the remaining lilies are blooming beautifully again… their fragrance spreads throughout the surrounding area.

the personal Everglades…

Florida is really far from us, so in the morning I go to a valley where beavers have created a beautiful piece of wildlife. Only those crocodiles are not here..
